The twenty-first century has become the fastest paced period in history, everything has become on demand and therefore life in itself has become more demanding. Along with family and work commitments we are bombarded by the media with images of overly thin female celebrities telling of their 'body-battles', air brushed grey-tone muscular men adorn the front of fitness magazines with spectacular headlines like six weeks to a six pack. We are told to exercise, to eat right, lower our cholestorol, manage our GI, go organic and all the rest.
I say lets stop for a moment, lets take a step back and think about this. Why do we exercise? When we are packing ourselves into fluorescent lit gyms after work, running on treadmills in lines facing mirrors, lifting weights, ab-crunching our way into oblivion, what are we doing this for?
Lets get back to basics, the human body is incredibly well- designed for our lives, our bones, tendons, muscles and nerves all work in perfect sync to keep us funcitoning and mobile. The way our body looks is a by-product of what we do with it. As a Personal Trainer my aims is to help get peoples bodies looking and working as well as their bodies can.

Ignore the media, the celebrities and models and their distorted view of male and female body types. We are all genetically different and our bodies react to exercise in different ways. What works for one will not work for another but as a Personal Trainer I have the knowledge and skills to listen to what you want and design a programme to suit you that importantly you will enjoy.
